Description:Excellent opportunity for a generally outgoing, confident librarian to focus on the system’s outreach services to underserved populations through non-traditional circulation and programming efforts using the innovations of technology offered and familiarity of future enhancements. Builds working relationships with community partners to further the library’s system outreach activities and projects, and oversee the library’s non-traditional circulation offerings – Text-to-Checkout, Little Free Libraries and Deposit Collections as well.

Minimum Qualifications:ALA/MLS, with demonstrated outreach experience and desire to work with a diverse group or individuals. Has a strong interest and understanding on how digital tools may serve underserved populations including the usage of Text-to-Checkout, Little Free Libraries and Deposit Collections as well.
Preferred Qualifications:The ability to work independently; to meet deadlines and commitments; communicate and express ideas effectively in both verbal and written format and follow guidelines and procedures set forth essential. The simplicity of enjoying meeting and working with a diverse group or individuals necessary.
