Description:Reporting to the Director of Information Systems, the Senior Technical Support Specialist is responsible for coordinating smooth implementations of client-side applications in the Library’s hardware and technology environment and supporting educational efforts. The senior specialist consults with server-side staff, advising on client-side application, to develop and implement information systems in the Library’s environment and may be involved in any stage of a project’s lifecycle. Duties include supervising the IT Technical Support Specialists, working with that team to identify opportunities for improvement to information systems, deploy technology, maintain end user knowledge base, and provide technical support and application support to Library end users. Salary $50,000 annually DOQ plus excellent benefits. Position open until filled. Kansas City Public Library is an Equal Opportunity Employee.
